Why Arsenal & Wenger must prevent a bad week becoming a total disaster

The League Cup is not a competition Arsene Wenger tends to lose sleep over, but Arsenal's third-round tie takes on added significance this year.

Not only do they face arch rivals Tottenham on Wednesday, but the Gunners go into the game after losing back-to-back fixtures against Dinamo Zagreb and Chelsea.

The competition is not important enough to Arsenal to become a make-or-break moment in a season already coming under scrutiny.
